From the Owner

Here is a quick version of my story…

I’m an ordinary gal with a mom who is the queen of syntax and grammar. As a kid, I would get giddy drafting essays and writing lyrical prose. In college, my professor boasted that she had taught me well and I had a bright future in literature. I was flattered, but was pursuing a science degree.

I became a mom and focused my extra energy on my kids after long days of work and school. As my kids got older, I became obsessed with the library. I would take my kids there for story time and come home with dozens of picture books. It made me so happy to see the smiles on my kids’ faces as I read the clever and adventurous tales aloud.

One night, I had a dream that felt completely tangible. I had won a literary award and was offered a publishing deal. I awoke with a huge smile on my face and started a writing frenzy. As the days went on, I kept a pocket notebook with me, which I used to scribble ideas for my books on my lunch break.

Fast forward a handful of years–I had a couple of manuscripts ready for the world, AND I discovered a new type of writing called copywriting. I spent many hours learning all I could about how to become a copywriter before I finally purchased a course. A hop, skip, and a jump later, and AP Copy was born.

AP Copy is often confused but isn’t “associated” with that one famous press. AP Copy may not be famous (yet), but what it has is better. AP Copy understands the struggles a small business goes through since it is one. Giving ample attention to each client, AP Copy strives to support those who genuinely uplift the world.
